We are a small crew of pet people who got tired of buying gear that looked good in a listing photo and fell apart by the second month.
Why we started
The Pawrent Co. began the way most of these things do: with a specific, unglamorous problem. A dog, a wet walk, a hallway rug, and no good way to get four muddy paws clean without turning it into a bath. We went looking for something that worked, found a lot of things that nearly did, and eventually decided we would rather curate carefully than sell everything.
What we actually do
We test the categories we sell in, we keep the range deliberately small, and we write honest product descriptions. If a product only suits certain dogs, we say so. If sizing runs tight, we say that too. A return costs us more than a careful sentence does, and it costs you an afternoon.
Right now the range covers four everyday problems: muddy paws and the mess that follows a walk, shedding season and cold-weather comfort, and keeping a car usable when your dog rides in it.

- A real person answering email. Questions about sizing, fit or whether something suits your specific dog are welcome, and we would rather answer them before you order.
